On Friday we had the pleasure of fishing with two young veterans, Nick and his friend Nate, on our @northcoastboats 190. The wind and swells were up but we managed to find birds diving on busting bait that was being forced up to shore by schools of striper and bluefish. After chasing birds for awhile and catching a bunch of smaller striper and bluefish the bite died down and we moved on to do some bottom fishing. Found some sea bass, scup and fluke, one being a keeper. Nick caught his personal best striper close to the end of our trip and we had an all around great day on the water!
